​​YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND REGISTRATION DAY IN PERSON IF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES:

• A new player to the club, who is playing in Set ( 8s & 9s) Junior ( 10s -17s) Seniors ( 18s +)
  
• A player who are previously played in  Netters ( 5s - 7s) and is moving  into the 8's.
  
• A Player registering to play in the 10s.
  
• A Player who needs to update their  Player Card Photo whose existing photo is more that 3 years old e.g.13s and 16s
• Any player requiring a uniform (seeUniform page)

NOTE:All other players will NOT need to come to the Registration Day, and can just register and pay  online.

 WHAT TO BRING ON REGISTRATION DAY:

• PLAYERS IN THE 8S – A copy of their Birth Certificate to be sighted by the Registrar,
  
• PLAYERS IN THE 10S -  A copy of their Birth Certificate to be sighted by the Registrar and  1 Passport photos.
  
• ALL NEW PLAYERS (10's and Up ) -  A copy of their Birth Certificate to be sighted by the Registrar  and  1 Passport photos.
  
• PLAYERS UPDATING PHOTOS – 1 passport size photos i.e. players in the 13s and 16s

2025 Registration Fees

 ​Age groups are based on the age the player is turning during the 2024 Calender year.

​Registrations are Open to both girls and boys to come and play netball.

Registration Fees are used to cover,  player Registration and insurance costs from SSNA, Netball NSW and Netball Australia.

It also cover umpire fees for 10s-17 age groups, donation to SSNA Annual Fundraiser- Crazy Hair & Socks Day for Kids Cancer, the equipment provided by the club for Team Kit Bags and costs incurred for running the club. St Catherines Netball Club is a not for profit organisation and aims to keep player fees as low as possible.

​​ ​NETTER Learn to Play Netball Program (5's-7's)

- Kindergarten & Yr 1 Girls & Boys

Start Date:  TRAINING STARTS -Tuesday 25th March 2025

                    GAMES START: Friday 2ND May 2025  -1st Game - 4.45pm

Venue: Belllingarra Netball Courts, 99-105 Belligarra Rd, Miranda

Cost: $116

Uniform: Net Set Go Shirt and black leggings.

• For Kindergarten and Year One girls and boys to gain basic netball skills in a fun environment.

• The Net players participate in  training sessions on the Tuesday prior to the Game at Bellingarra Netball Courts, from Friday 2nd May they will then participate in a  round robin event with teams from other Netball clubs using modified rules and shorter games.
  

• After registering, each player will receive a NetSetGo Pack from Netball NSW. This contains a NetSetGo Shirt and Netball, the players will use this shirt for playing games in the round Robin.

Teams & Grading

• Players will be split into teams primarily split between on their school grade and also based on skill and number of players. 

• The club will  try to accommodate playing with friends where possible.

SET Netball (8's and 9's)

Start Date: FRIDAY 28TH MARCH 2025 - Time - Afternoons - 1st Game - 4.45pm

Venue: Bellingarra Netball Courts, 99-105 Bellingarra Rd, Miranda

Cost: $160

Uniform: St Caths Netball Uniform is required

REGISTER HERE

• For players ( girls & boys) turning 8 or 9 during 2025 calendar year.
  

• For players turning 7yrs old in 2025 calender year, who will be playing in the 8s.

• Teams participate in a modified rules competition on Friday afternoons at Bellingarra Netball courts. The teams will train prior to the start of the games.
  

• The competition runs for the 14 weeks with breaks during school holidays and long weekends. 
  

There are no official results, competition ladder or finals.

Teams & Grading: 

• Players will be split into teams based on skill and number of players.   

• In this age group the club try to accommodate playing with at least one friend where possible.  

• Teams will be assigned a division by the SSNA based on recommendations provided by the club, and previous team / player experience.

Juniors (10's to 17's)

Start Date: SAT 29TH MARCH 2025

Venue: Bellingarra Netball Courts, 99-105 Bellingarra Rd, Miranda

Cost: $225 - Includes Umpire Fees

Uniform: St Caths Netball Uniform is required

COMPULSORY SSNA PRACTICAL GRADING DAY - SUN 9TH MARCH  -10s& 11s MON 10TH MARCH - 16/17s

• Full graded competition run by the SSNA on a Saturday morning at Bellingara Netball Courts.
  

• The 16/17 Age group may play on Saturday afternoons, to be confirmed by the SSNA.
  

• The competitions runs for 14 weeks with breaks during school holidays and long weekends.   
  

• Game results are recorded by the SSNA and based on competition ladder.
  

• The top 4 teams participate in the finals series (semi / final / grand final).

Teams & Grading: 

• Players will be split into teams based on skill and number of players. 

• If there are multiple teams per age group, players may be asked to attend a club grading day to assist with splitting the girls into teams with a similar level of skill.  

• Compulsory SSNA Grading for the Following Age Groups
  
•   Sun 9th March - 10s & 11s Monday 10th March - 16/17s

• Teams will be assigned a competition division by the SSNA based on information provided by the club, and SSNA Practical Grading Day.

• Any players wishing to participate in seniors will need to submit a block team registration. The Primary Team Contact is required to email the club with the list of players  to advise they wish register a block team prior to players registering individually.( please refer to the additional information below)
• All players will be required to attend the Club Registration Day.
• Individual players will  not accepted as we cannot guarantee a full team.

Block Team Registration -SENIORS, MENS OR MIXED TEAMS

• Block registration of a team is mandatory for Seniors. Mens or Mixed teams.
  
•  St Catherine's Netball Club does not allow block registration for younger teams.
• NOTE:Please email the club prior to registering if you have a team who is interested in playing in the SSNA Friday Night Mixed Competition.
  
• If you would like to block register a Senior team, Mens or Mixed Team the Primary Team Contact is required to email the club  with the list of player, prior to the players registering individually.
